The camera slider aka camera dolly, especially the motorized one is super useful for shooting B-rolls and adding some dynamics to usually static shots. You can buy, or you can build. I've chosen the build option and here is my DIY motorized camera slider made from 2020 aluminum profiles, NEMA17 stepper motors, ESP32, TMC2209 stepper motor driver, and Arduino.
It has a WiFi and web user interface! I plan to add a pan head and maybe other bells and whistles!
