Normally, I would NEVER pull shards outside of a 2X event, but because I REALLY want the shard fragments for Roric Wyrmbane I have no choice... Maybe the X10 helps out a little bit?

These kind of shard openings usually have a pretty low chance of success, so please don't get your hopes up during a X10 event. Opening shards outside of 2X events is in my opinion overall a VERY BAD IDEA in RAID: Shadow Legends. I am pulling 20 Ancient Shards, 3 Void Shards and 2 Sacred Shards.
