Distro Review of OpenMediaVault - A Linux system that comes complete with all the tools for creating your own Network Attached Storage (NAS) System.
Open Media Vault can be run as a headless server (computer with no keyboard / screen connected). All configuration can be done via a Web GUI interface.
Its easy to setup RAID Arrays, and to enable and configure Samba / SMB to allow access from Windows and other Linux systems.

Being a customisable system you could Install SABNZBD+, Sickbeard, and CouchPotato to automatically download TV programs and Movies from UseNet and then watch them on an XBMC Media Player.
