OpenTTD City Growth Challenge Part 2 - Fixing the Trains and Farm Ratings
After the last episode, I had a mix of some engines that had updated and some that hadn't, so I planned to take the rest of the loan back out and finish off the upgrades.
Then, I decided I ought split up the engines and create two shorter trains for every one double-headed train I had had.
This eventually helped to stop the farm station rating nose-diving.
I moved my HQ over to the steel mill because the HQ supplies passengers and the steel mill accepts them. It turns out the HQ supplies passengers very, very slowly, but in a city growth game that's actually good because it'll keep a high rating as long as they get picked up as they appear.
By the end of that, we just turned the year 1940, and we're about ready to start using some fast-forward.
