Operation Repo: GTA IV Edition is Back!

A car is repossessed and some thugs show up.

How to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XykP_3YyBIk

Here is how I did it:

(Please note that these instructions do not really apply to this video, but more to my other Operation Repo videos.)

What you are seeing in my video is not one mod, but a collection of mods that I edited together in Final Cut Pro, to make it appear to be 1 mod. The three mods you need are below: Make sure you make backups!

Step 1.) LCPDFR Mod - This is one of the greatest GTA IV mods which allows you to be a police officer. It also allows you to ticket vehicles, which brings up a clipboard, making it appear that you are running a VIN number.

Step 2.) Simple Native Trainer (SNT) Mod - There is really nothing that this mod cannot do. What I used it for is to change the model of the principal character, in this case, Niko, to a ped model that looks more like a repo guy, namely Lou from Operation Repo. I also used it to attach the car behind the tow truck to the truck, to make it appear that it was being towed. I also used this to spawn an unarmed bodyguard model, making it appear that it was my partner or assistant.

Step 3.) Tow Truck - it can be found here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dd2x3a6n7y7wg4e

Step 4.) (Optional) Indicator Script - this allows you to use turn signals (blinkers) in GTA IV, just like the AI. It can be found in the downloads section on the LCPDFR website.

Instructions:

Step 1.) Once you have installed all of the mods, press Control+P to go on duty in LCPDFR using the principal character.

Step 2.) (Optional) Switch the Niko model for a ped model that looks more like a repo guy using the model spawning feature of the Simple Native Trainer, which can be opened by using F3.

Step 3.) Using the Simple Native Trainer, spawn the Tow Truck. Do this by spawning the Bobcat truck, since this has been replaced with the tow truck.

Step 4.) Approach a vehicle that you want to repossess that is parked. (It must be parked.) Press E to take out the clipboard to make it look like you are checking the VIN number.

Step 5.) Pull your tow truck up to the front of the car as close as you can without hitting it.

Step 6.) Using the SNT, go into options, and attach the nearest car which should be the one you are trying to repossess. Next you can drive off with it, and you are done.

You could also spawn an attacking ped and call for police backup using Alt+B or using the phone and 911, but you don't need to. Also, I turned off the HUD with SNT while recording with FRAPS, so it seems more cinematic. Also, while using SNT, do not move around alot so you can cut out that part without making it obvious in your video that it is edited. The hydraulic sound effect and backing up sound effect was also added while editing the video.

Have Fun and Good Luck!
