Operators Operating is a new series featuring Rainbow Six: Siege gameplay from my friends and me: sometimes said gameplay is particularly horrible, incredible, or hilarious. One way or another, it is always entertaining. Rainbow Six: Siege has always been love-hate for me, but I always find myself back at it, even when it hurts me so. I have a few friends who are really good at the game and it accompanies my luckiness quite well, which is showcased in Operators Operating. I usually use ShadowPlay to capture my gameplay and it lacks some of the useful tools that Dxtory and other capture programs do, so I have to put a little extra work into editing to get the audio levels to work out correctly. Hopefully I have found an alright balance here. Let me know if it is unbearable.

New operators came out recently for Siege from Spain in the form of Mira and Jackal. Jackal looks like a total chode and has earned the nickname “Chinstrap” in our group. Mira however, is super useful and a total blast to play. I get a couple good clutches and we also see some killer Vector kills from her in this episode of Operators Operating. One of my buddies really likes Jackal, but he isn’t really my preferred OP, even if he is quite useful. He is still probably Siege’s most chodey operator. Rainbow Six has always been a really tactical shooter and while Siege is no exception, the community sometimes doesn’t like to follow suit with that image… you know, ever. There are some pretty funny community moments in this as well that really demonstrates the cancer that breeds here in Rainbow Six: Siege.

As “short range” specialists, their training is concentrated on indoor environments. Operating in tight formations, they are experts of close quarter combat, demolition, and coordinated assaults. Rainbow Six Siege will include operators coming from five of the most worldwide renowned CTU: the British SAS, the American SWAT, the French GIGN, the German GSG9 and the Russian SPETSNAZ.
These Operators are specialists with their own expertise within Siege operations. Each has their own unique personality & specialty. Some are focused on assault where as others are defense-oriented. They can be combined within the same team to create new team strategies.

PROCEDURAL DESTRUCTION
Destruction is at the heart of the siege gameplay. Players now have the unprecedented ability to destroy environments. Walls can be shattered, opening new lines of fire, and ceiling and floors can be breached, creating new access points. Everything in the environment reacts realistically, dynamically, and uniquely based on the size and caliber of bullets you are using or the amount of explosives you have set. In Rainbow Six Siege, destruction is meaningful and mastering it is often the key to victory.
