Oracle of Ages (GBC) Part 1 on Nintendo Switch Online
0After completing Oracle of Seasons, I have ventured into it's brother-sister game called Oracle of Ages, which instead of having a twist on changing seasons, uses the mechanic of time change to create the world. So now there are 2 Maku Trees and houses contain different NPCs based on the past or present timeline that you visit.
With the combat and puzzle solving skill that I learned from Seasons, I am able to do pretty well progressing through Ages, but I still find my talents lacking. This game is definitely the harder of the two. Still has a great story, and I'm really liking how the game link mechanic works, where after putting a code that I got from beating Seasons, I am able to "continue" the story into Ages. The main protagonists and villains know who I am and talk to me as if they know what I've previously accomplished. I hear there is even a secret ending that I will get for playing a linked game.
