Octogon will move around and shoot a big nut after turning around. When the boss turns around, use the Seed Shooter with the Scent Seeds attached to strike the head of the boss. When the boss dives, use the newly acquired Mermaid Suit as you got in this dungeon in the present time and dive underwater. While underwater, Octogon will chase after you. Shoot some Scent Seeds from the Seed Shooter to strike the face of the boss while underwater. When the boss surfaces, return to the surface yourself and continue attacking from the nearby floor. Keep shooting Scent Seeds and the boss will be defeated. You’ll receive a Heart Container and the 6th of the 8 Essences of Time, the Bereft Peak.
