Hellgate: London is a game with a very mixed reputation, which is probably at least somewhat deserved. It had a buggy release and has always been a little unstable, yet delivered gameplay and environments solid enough to have a playerbase that thrives to this day. While this original version of the game is long dead, community patch and mod support continues even now, because a lot of fans feel the same way I do about it: Brought to you by developers who originally worked for Blizzard, this is the "real" Diablo 3, and the influences of that franchise are apparent in many of the best (and a few of the worst) ways. I'm not much of an FPS gamer, but this is one that has stuck with me and that I remember fondly from back when I had a rig that could barely run it. If you never had the chance to experience it for yourself, then I hope this playthrough and the adventures of Sir Miguel, Templar guardian, inspire you to give this particular demon a shot!
