Ornatrix | Fibershop | How to make separate haircards in Maya?
7For Ornatrix Proxy to accept HairCards, each HairCard needs to be a separate object. But after importing from Fibershop, you might end up with one whole object. This video shows you how to split the HairCards and center their pivots.

TIMING:
0:00 - Showing what needs to be enabled in Fibershop to export HairCards Mesh
0:08 - Importing haircards into Maya
0:25 - In my case, they were imported with a texture, but sometimes the import happens without a texture - in this case, you need to assign a material and load the textures yourself from the folder
0:44 - Then we split the object into different cards using Mesh - Separate
0:47 - We pull them out of the folder and delete the history
1:03 - We reset the Pivot Point to the center.
