A stunning virtual recreation of Ørsta-Volda Airport (ENOV) for Microsoft's latest simulator, MSFS (2020) release.
Ørsta-Volda is based in Norway and surrounded by fjords and beautiful scenery available and recreated within the simulator.
The airport itself features a 1070 meter runway built on asphalt. It's the regional airport serving surrounding Hovdebygda in Ørsta. The airport is small and serves mostly regional routes to Sogndal, Bergen, and Oslo.
The scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been reproduced in a virtual format and made compatible with the sim with attention to detail and accuracy.
All of the airport buildings have been included (same as the real-world airfield). The pack also features the custom grooved apron and runway detailing based on the real-world airfield.
As you can expect, all of the textures are advanced and make use of the next-gen PBR (Physically based rendering) support of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The vegetation, roads, and elevations in and around the airport have been adjusted to make them more lifelike and true to the real world.
As a bonus, certain landmarks in and around the area of the airport are included in local towns and villages. These landmarks have been highly researched from the real world and made available within the sim. Approaches have never looked more realistic for ENOV in MSFS (2020).
A custom elevation date for the airport and surroundings have been included to make the altitude/ground even more accurate and expands on the default Microsoft included data.
Finally, all of the runways, taxiways, aprons and stands/gates are designed based on the real-world airfield with accuracy to detail. This version of Ørsta-Volda is really the most realistic (based on the real-world airport) you can get for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release.
The add-on is released as payware which means you need to purchase it in order to use it.
