Welcome! To Let's play Osiris: New Dawn - gameplay – part 6. I have lost the previous base we have made in Osiris: New Dawn. But its not a great loose as the base was not the best of locations there resources were too far away and It took me too much time to gather anything to progress in Osiris: New Dawn. Time to move to a better location and there is one near by. Well not exactly near. Far away almost three kilometres away from the spawning location. To a place called the horizontal volcano. Near that place we won’t only find lithium, resources needed to make Plastics, Iron, titanium, aluminium, copper, plutonium and magnesium but also a great flat space for the further base! The only problem with the new best location for our base in Osiris: New Dawn is that the spot is crawling with wild creatures. However with a pistol there should be not big of a problem. After setting the first camp we need to establish a mining camp nearby! That will alow us to easily make steel. Nearby there is a perfect spot in Osiris: New Dawn for that. Its surrounded with iron, titanium, large crater magnesium with no gigantic worm that can eat us – so its safe to mine there. However there may be a problem of mining aluminium in Osiris: New Dawn as this spot for the best base does not have too much of it. Or does it ? As the new patch have hit in Osiris: New Dawn with the turrets and a new mining technic! Now the basic mineral deposit will spawn in the world of Osiris: New Dawn. With it we can mine both iron and aluminum from the same spot – as there is no perfect aluminium spot nearby we can’t complane for iron titanium, magnesium or other minerals. The mining works best with the robot helper we start in Osiris: New Dawn. As he won’t destroy the deposit when he mines it and still will deliver steady supply of iron and aluminum for construction of our future base! Just keep in mind to order him to mine the basic material deposit nothing else as there is also precious mineral deposit that can spawn other minerals from it. With steady good supply of steel Its time to start constructing! With the large flat area we can build however we wish! First on the list in Osiris: New Dawn is of course, expect for the forge, the habitat with a fabricator! This time however I also managed to start building the barracks! Bettwen recordings of Osiris: New Dawn a new patch came In wit ha security tower but I still lack materials to build one. But hopefully that will help us to defend our base against the incoming waves of attackers each night, the infected crawl out of there holes each night and the new location of the perfect base may actuly be a nearby breeding grounds of those monsters of Osiris: New Dawn. So having a secured base is our next step! The only problem with this location for a base is lack of oxygen and a medium amount of aluminium. For that we may want to build a vehicle as soon as that is possible and try to look around to find better source of aluminium for further base expansion. Dimond and lithium are not a problem from a nearby cave, Magnesium is located in a nearby crater and Iron with titanium is just laying around! Gold is guarded by a few Tumbo but they are not a threat as they are very slow!
