Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Furi, part 8 defeat the Edge. If You are looking for the most powerful boss of Furi then I would say the Edge is Your men. He is strong, he hits like a truck and to give player a chance of defeating him in Furi the fight is limited to four phases on Furi difficulty! In other words if You start the fight with Edge and think it will be a easy way think again, he will make You cry. He will make sure You will remember his name. For some of You who play Furi the Edge may look very familiar to something. Well it is, he looks very similar to Afro Samurai same as Furi’s main hero. As most of the characters in Furi have been designed by the same person who did Afro Samurai. So if You though in the previous episodes of Furi he looks familiar to him You are right he does. The worse part of fighting with the Edge on Furi difficulty is that the first three phases are basically a face roll easy. There is almost no difficulty on the first phase, there is a little change in the fight with Edge in the second phase. Then the first phases changes complete the way the fight goes and then comes the enrage phase. Where the Edge turns in to a super saiyan and will wreck every-thing in his wake! He makes perfection a habit and he knows what he is saying! A single hit from the Edge will make You rethink the entire Furi mechanic and blocking the Edges attacks won’t heal You too much as well. Honestly if You fight the Edge the fact you block is more important then the fact You will heal from blocking! Also don’t get too used to the Attack burst in Furi after fighting with the previous bosses as the Edge likes to take his attack when he unleashes an entire combo on You and You may block too fast for it to have an effect. The Final phase of fighting with the Edge will make force You to block and evade all his incoming attacks! The energy wave, job back and forward. The Burst he will do – blocking all the way You may attack the Edge only when he finishes his attack! Even if You think You can indeed attack the Edge when he attacks You aswell but Furi will take around one or two bars of the Edge health bar while he will take sometimes four or five health bars so You can’t go head to head with him, time your attacks and wait. The edge attack patters are quite easy and with him there is only the direct combat phase there is no running around and chasing him. You won’t have to he is way faster then You may think.
