27During Doors Open Ottawa 2010, I got a chance to tour the main water treatment plant for Ottawa on Lemieux Island. The City of Ottawa has a crew that is entering a competition for water main tapping (yes, there's a competition for this.) During the event, they provided a demonstration of what they do. These guys are crazy fast and work with Nascar pit crew precision. According to one of the team members, this was one of their fastest runs ever.
