A new season has commenced as the Sens roll into Scotiabank Place for the 2011-2012 season. Towards the end of last season, Sens' GM Bryan Murray was instrumental and was forced to rebuild his team and it all began with trading long time favourites and veterans Mike Fisher & Chris Kelly along with not so important bodies such as Jarkko Rutuu & Alex Kovalev among the many. As a result, the Sens were able to obtain an impressive 3 draft selections, all in which were in the 1st round of the 2011 Entry Draft.

This also marked the return of Dany Heatley, now playing for the Minnesota Wild. Gotta feel for Kuba & Gonchar during this introduction. Please bare with us, Sens fans. Rebuild will take its time.
