Hello again Outbreak Gaming fans!

Happy Halloween! It would seem fitting as the new prestige mission: Shroud of the Apocrea came out around the same time as the Spiral Knights Halloween event, Dark Harvest, and it sets a creepy feel to the normally colorful and upbeat world of Spiral Knights. It seems like several capable knights have gone missing in a seemingly normal area of the Clockwork Tunnels. The Spiral HQ suspects foul play and has assigned us to investigate the level, and investigate we did!

Despite the lag we encountered that disconnected one of our guildmates we powered on through to complete this spooky new prestige mission grabbing as many of the new tokens as we could that would allow us to buy the new materials to create the new weapons.

A lot of players complained that this mission was too easy on the official forums and in response Three Rings patched it to make it a LOT harder. In my opinion I don't think the patch improved the mission.

Tweaking the gravestones to put out more monsters and less souls has contributed more lag to the mission and because you get less tokens this mission now feels like more of a grind than actually fun like it was before the patch. But still, it's always nice to see new content and we have enjoyed it in some way or another. :)

Unfortunately there wasn't many guildies online with a microphone/headset so we didn't get any commentary for this run but at least you can get the full effect of the creepy music and sound effects this way. :)
