NOTE: If you got any issues, extract the steamcmd.zip file into your Hurtworld server folder before doing anything.
ALL STEPS SUMMED UP:
1 - Create a new folder »» 2 - Download steamcmd.zip here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/w... »»
3 - Run steamcmd.exe file and type the following: 1- force_install_dir *your folder directory name here* and press Enter; 2- login anonymous and press Enter; 3- app_update 405100 validate and press Enter »» 4 - Close steamcmd.exe application and open the "hurtworld" folder that is under your Local Disk folder »»
5 - Right-click over host.bat file and click on "Edit" to open it with Notepad. Inside the file, change the "servername" name to any name you want to give to your server »» 6 - On the same host.bat file, add the code ;addadmin *your Steam 64ID here*. For finding yout Steam 64 ID number, go here https://www.steamid.co.uk/ and type your Steam account name. Copy the Steam 64 ID (also called Community ID) and paste it into the host.bat file, after the addadmin code (ex. addadmin 14587413124). Save and close Notepad. »» *GO TO THE FILE AUTOEXEC_DEFAULT.CFG, RIGHT-CLICK AND OPEN IT WITH NOTEPAD - ERASE THE "QUIT" COMMAND LINE AND SAVE THE FILE » 7 - Right-click on host.bat edit again, click on "Run As Administrator" »» 8 - Launch Hurtworld through Steam (do not ever close the host.bat file if you pretend to play on your server while the game is open!) »» 9 - On Hurtworld main menu, press F1 to open the console, and type connect 127.0.0.1 and press Enter.
