What a bonkers run. Even on ITYTD, there are so many points that you can get completely destroyed. The new enemies, specifically the Vassagos and the Shocktroopers, can cause major trouble.

Unlike some other runners, I go for the rocket launcher and the Soulsphere as they're borderline required for the next map. Killing at least one of the Imps on the ledge to the right (the one you have to drop on) will make your life way easier. The hardest part of this map is probably the neon maze, where the Revs in close quarters can very easily kill you. Note that the reason I don't have to deal with a bunch of Imps right before/after the neon maze is because they only teleport in if you shot in this area earlier, so I made sure to go pacifist when getting the SSG and the red key. Also, it doesn't really matter if you grab the Incinerator on this map or the next.

Probably the second hardest map in the run. Rockets are your best friend. Rocket any Shocktroopers you see - they'll kill you very quickly. In the room with the pipes, I run off the platform at an angle so I can both hit the button to open the next area and quickly teleport out of there. The final lift seems to only be triggered by enemies at the top, so you might get lucky and have a quick lift.
L2M3: 3:57.62 :)
Surprisingly, the second secret is much easier than it's intended to be; you're supposed to pass a linedef that drops the Calamity Blade and then race to the secret, but you can just walk up the path even without lowering it. When going for secrets 7 and 8, make sure to kill the Imp on the far side of the large rom, or he may block you. I'm pretty sure the rocket jump to the penultimate secret is actually intended, though it certainly seems ridiculous to expect players to do that casually.
L2M0: 1:35.11 :))
This map kinda sucks, too gimmicky for me. When dropping down from the flesh maze, be very careful to go down without touching either wall or going too fast - you may skip the linedef to lower the Cyberdemon, softlocking the map. In the Arch-Vile room, you can sorta get the AVs to pop you out of the holes for some time save, though I'm not sure exactly how.
L2M4: 2:04.40 :|
Pretty basic map; AlexEightch pointed out that it feels like a tribute to Dr. Sleep's maps.
L2M5: 3:30.71 :)
Probably the hardest map. You can choose to get the Megasphere whenever you need, but be warned that the room will get increasingly crowded as you move through the map. The last secret is a choke point; be sure to have the Calamity Blade ready.
L2M6: 3:18.51 :)
This map is by far my favorite. In the room with the Invuln, grabbing the Invlun will release a bunch of Arch-Viles, which can reopen the now-locked door for you later, saving quite a bit of time. Just be careful not to get zapped into the Nukage pools, as you can't get out. I'm really not sure how to optimally use the Calamity Blade, so there's probably some time save in the last few fights. Also, be very careful walking around the elevator before the Cyberdemons - one elastic collision can send you flying into the nukage.
L2M7: 2:16.65 :)
It is possible to do an AV Jump at the end and skip the fight with all the Tyrants, but I just can't see how someone could get that AV Jump without killing everything else. The AVs are very infight-prone due to the way the Vassagos attack, so getting them to focus you is near-impossible. Not to mention, they barely have enough range to zap you for the jump. If someone can get that AV Jump in a run, it would probably save around 30-45 seconds.
