There was a huge update on Aug 6th, 2022 which changed the way polling worked. In the changes outlined by the pull request, it seems like everything in the video has been implemented by the default firmware (I'm pretty sure, but not 100% sure, will have to check.) This means you will probably no longer need to go through all this to achieve consistent polling shown in the video. (yay!)

WARNING: BACKUP EVERYTHING AND SAVE A COPY OF YOUR PREVIOUS / DEFUALT FIRMWARE IN CASE EVERYTHING GOES WRONG

Steps:
- install and setup qmk toolbox qmk MSYS
- find your qmk_firmware folder, then navigate to qmk_firmware\quantum\
- open action.c, use the replace function and replace "send_keyboard_report();" with "// send_keyboard_report();"
- open keyboard.c, add #include "action_util.h" with the other includes. Then find MATRIX_LOOP_END label, and put down "send_keyboard_report();" a line after
- navigate to qmk_firmware\keyboards\ and find your keyboard
- open config.h and put "#define USB_POLLING_INTERVAL_MS 1"
- compile and flash your keyboard
- enjoy!
