OUTDATED! - Terraria Modding Tutorial - Setting Up a Mod in Visual Studio
► Video Information
In this episode I show you how to setup a mod using Visual Studio. This is if you don't want to use the Mod Skeleton. I believe this works for Mac as well.
Terraria Modding is a fun hobby to have and if you are a member of the Terraria community then you have likely come across mods in the past such as the Calamity mod or mods that allow you to cheat and test things such as the HERO mod which is a mod that I use alongside any mod I create to allow me to test out items and everything before going to far ahead and going to a point of no return.
Setting up your modding environment is extremely easy, all you do is download tModLoader and launch the tModLoaderInstaller jar and you are pretty much done.
As long as you know some C# you are ready to code.
