Outlast | Part 5 | Out of the frying pan and into the fire! | I hate doctors!
6In this lets play video of outlast I start back out still in the sewers but quickly escape into the male ward. I am not in the male ward long before I come across what looks like a decrepit old clinic full of either dead, or nearly dead, patients. I climb into the air conditioning duct to get out of this creepy place but once I exit I am suddenly face to face with the most terrifying chase I have experienced in this game so far. I unfortunately fall to my death and have to redo the exact same horrifying chase again but manage to make the previously missed leap with no problem this time! I am almost killed by a patient before I realize that I need to climb over a door frame to escape him. I climb into a laundry chute right as three men rush me and am carried to safety, or so I thought. Once I arrive at the top of the chute I am greeted by a Doctor Richard Trager who is nice enough to knock me senseless and strapping me to a wheelchair. Doctor Trager jokingly offers me a chance at freedom by saying I am free to get up and leave at anytime even though I am confined to my mobile prison. Rick Trager then wheels me on to an elevator and in to his operating room where he proceeds to torture me in the worst of ways before leaving me alone in the room. I manage to break free and grab my camera but what will happen next? Will Trager find me? Will he torture me more if he does or will he just kill me on the spot?!

Synopsis:

More about Doctor Trager:
Doctor Trager, much like the rest of the asylum's inhabitants, is a sadistic and mass-murdering psychopath, but his psyche and mental ability appears to operate in a highly functional way that proves he still has a grasp of reality, even if only slight. Because of this, he is more than capable of thinking, planning, and other things such as tricking Miles into entering the dumbwaiter so he can gain access to him (it is possible that that's how Trager lures his victims).
Additionally, he is capable of both intelligent and coherent speech (much like Eddie Gluskin), speaking to Miles in a friendly tone and addressing him almost mockingly, as "buddy." He either enjoys pretending to be a surgeon or has been driven to believe that he actually is one, and has a habit of collecting body parts from his "patients", e.g. a tongue because he was "tired of licking his own stamps", and Miles' ring and index fingers because he desired to sell them.
