Out Run (also stylized as OutRun) is an arcade driving video game released by Sega in September 1986. It is known for its pioneering hardware and graphics, nonlinear gameplay, a selectable soundtrack with music composed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi, and the hydraulic motion simulator deluxe arcade cabinet. The goal is to avoid traffic and reach one of five destinations. The version of the game running here is the version released for the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16. Because the TurboExpress is essentially a portable version of this NEC console.

GAME RECORDING INFO:

The game was integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio. I also use a shader / filter that simulates the image of the original Screen, that had no ilumination. And also I created an image to use as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
