1,563Sega's legendary OutRun series should be familiar to most of you. While its arcade roots are well known, there are some home spinoffs that really took liberties with the license. Here we look at OutRun Europa, one of the strangest games in the series.

Episode Notes:
1. Captured on the Mega SG.
2. The ZX Spectrum version of this was a source of great controversy at the time. Magazine reviews showed a much better looking game than the end product, enraging consumers.
3. I am shocked this was never made into a Genesis/Mega Drive game.
4. Battle OutRun was never released for the US Master System.
5. This one doesn't cost a fortune. In fact, the Game Gear release is quite cheap.
6. Due to the PAL only release, I didn't actually play this until well after its original release. I always had thought it was a Game Gear exclusive.
7. The Master System and Game Gear versions have completely different HUD's between the two versions.
