29OutRun2SP is great, but it takes forever to load from the GD-ROM drive. This is a real shame as it kinda removes the opportunity for a quick blast :o(
Just got SSD kits to replace the GD-ROM drives for the twin from the legend that is Andy Geezer. Fitted one so thought I'd do a side-by-side loading comparison. WOW! boring video, but WOW! sooo much quicker!!
GD-ROM drive load (left side) = 5m34s
SSD load = 2m20s
Very nice kits - the SSD fits inside the Chihiro so nice and neat too. Will also be 100% more reliable - no more error 24/error 25!!
I advise anyone with a dedicated cab to get one if still using GD-ROM.
