The self-proclaimed Genshin Impact killer. Tower of Fantasy was hyped up a lot by a lot of people, people couldn't stop talking about this game like a certain YouTube channel, praising this game to be the next big MMORPG, the game that would kill Genshin Impact.

I feel like all that hype made it so that I had a lot of high expectations for this game, which isn't really a bad thing, it made me look forward to the game. With that though, the game has to deliver when it comes out, which unfortunately, Tower of Fantasy did not delivery. Playing it felt bad, it just felt like it was put together in 3 weeks and a lot of it was just "Hey this looked good in this game, let's put it in ours" and "This game got popular because of this, let's have it in our game too." It felt very unoriginal and uninspired. Tower of Fantasy just feels like a mash of a bunch of things from different games put into one game and expecting it to work out somehow.

Now a lot of people are going to come at me saying "Oh you only played it for one day how can you say that?" To that I said, 1st impressions are important, if the game starts slow and can't keep me interested then it's not worth playing. At the same time, I am giving this game a try, I'm still playing this from time to time to see if the game gets better, Although there's not much for me to do in this game as I'm already time gated from the next quest anyways.

Here's some of the Pros and Cons of Tower of Fantasy in my opinion.

Pros:
- The combat is nice, the different weapons feels nice to use, switching between them mid fight, changing how the combat works is nice, not the best but it's nice.
- The game is almost fully voiced, the Main Character has a voice and most of the main story is voiced.
- The Character Creation is great, it's not like BDO level of character creation but it was fun playing around with it, if you wanted to create and anime character like Koikatsu character creation.
- The Character designs overall are nice, from the NPC's to the weapons that you get to draw.
- The world is pretty.

Cons:
- Controls sucks. I play it on PC and it feels so sluggish and bad, it just doesn't feel like it works half the time, from the auto dismount when sprinting or anything else, to just controlling the relic are kind of dog doodoo.
- Bugs bugs bugs. There's a lot of it, I get it, it just released but they had beta tests and some of the beta testers have reported said bugs and it still here in the full release
- The Relic System is trash. It's not fun, they managed to make something that's suppose to be fun like the jetpack and just make it godawful, with 90 second cooldown, and it uses 40% of your stamina on one little flight that doesn't even take you that high. Not to mention you can only use 2 Relic and are forced to change it every time when a new puzzle comes up. Just make a radial wheel with the Relic instead of having to constantly change the Relic every single time.
- The UI/Interface is completely rubbish. You can never find what you want immediately you have to go through like 3 different menus to get where you want to get. The one thing I really don't get is why the "shop", "adventure book", and those other menus are not in the ESC menu and are just in the game screen, why can't those menus just be in the ESC menu with everything else, it's just such a mess.
- TIME GATED CONTENT. This is the worst offender for me in this game, like come on how can you time gate the main story one Day 1? Some of the Beta Testers has told me that it was suppose to be removed but clearly they never did that.
- TIME GATED CHEST. For a game that wants me to explore after the time gated main quests, they decide to put time gated chests in game so that I can't even feel like exploring because I'm just going to run into time gated chests that I can't open, so what's the point of me exploring?
- Sounds design is bad. The combat is fun but unfortunately the sound made the combat feel kind of bad just because the sounds has no impact.

Honestly I could probably go on and on about the bad of this game, but I'm limited to 5000 words in this description, so I'll leave it at that, all in all, the game is not worth playing, it just feels bad to play.
