"This is a very early demo of the game Overload, a new six-degree-of-freedom shooter from the creators of Descent.

The pre-alpha build of Overload, a new six-degree-of-freedom shooter from the creators of Descent, contains three levels, including a "destroy the reactor" level and a fun challenge mode.

While the game is early in the development process, the teaser shows off the intense combat, amazing explosions, and cutting-edge lighting.

With 8 usable weapons and 3 menacing robot types, players can get a taste of what’s to come when Overload releases next year."

An early conceptual not!demo, meant to be a spiritual successor to Descent, by the creators themselves. You can try out the game itself through Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/450220/).

The developer already managed to gain funding through Kickstarter. Let's see how this 6DOF shooter will become.

Hopefully this will generate enough interest from other developers and eventually bring back the awesome FreeSpace series... =w=
