Zero and I do an overpowered runthrough of Borderlands 2, with a twist: primary weapon has to be "The Bane" which makes your movement speed almost zero, has terrible accuracy and also makes a lot of annoying noises. We did story missions only (save for one quick diversion for fun) and we scream through the game in a little over 3 hours.

How is this possible?

1) I levelled up a gunzerker in friend's games (mostly with terramorphous and warrior farming) and pimped out his loadout and skill tree for maximum speed, save for The Bane. So he's at a full level 50 before ever doing a single story mission on playthrough 1. While he's at max level, he's never gone through any of playthrough 1's story sequence. So he's MASSIVELY overpowered. Were I to do this by myself at this level, I'm pretty sure that no enemies in the game's first playthrough would take more than one hit.

2) This means I can have others in my party who are even more OP (like Zero at level 72) and tricked out. Of course, Zero has the Bane as well.

3) Given that "fetch" quest items are shared between the group, it means I can wait at a trigger, Zero can grab the necessary item on the other side of the map and then as soon as he does I can activate the trigger, saving a lot of travel time.
