Snapping was added in Krita 3. It helps you to accurately draw geometric shapes and selections, by anchoring your cursor to useful locations. You can snap to the grid and the guides, but also to vector shapes and your documents’ bounds. This feature is especially powerful when it comes to vector, as you can snap to vector control points, bounds, and more!
It currently isn’t as powerful when it comes to regular paint layers, as you cannot snap to a selection’s bounds yet. But it is a very useful feature nonetheless.
