Overwatch 2 10/6/24 stream - checking out this drive thing for comp.
1Not sure if this is like a last ditch effort to get people to play the game because numbers are low, or if they're finally realizing that there isn't any incentive to play the game outside willingly playing it on your own.
Unfortunately a system like this doesn't help me want to play the game since the match making system is still bad and the rewards aren't rewarding. Playing comp is a slog because payload maps take forever and are mostly just a huge waste of time if you lose and that really ruins any will to play comp for me.
I mixed in some quick play to try to manipulate match making as much as I could but by the end of this video it still devolves into the game won't put me on any decent teams, and I lose interest so I play worse as well.
I think this really shows me how much I miss loot boxes more than anything.
