Overwatch 2 Dev CRIES About “Review Bombing”, Blames Everything on Bobby Kotick
116On Bobby Kotick's Last Day at Activion-Blizzard, a dev has attempted to blame all of Ovewrwatch 2's problems on Bobby Kotick.
While it's hardly a hot take to suggest Bobby is a greedy asshole who doesn't care about the integrity of video games, it's also quite clear that Overwatch 2 and Blizzard overall are full of incompetent developer's and for an Overwatch Dev to try and blame everything on Bobby is a weak attempt to escape their own responsibility (this reminds me of the WoW team, when they tried to blame all the game's problems on a disgraced dev who had recently left).
They had YEARS to deliver a genuine PVE mode, they failed and instead delivered player's basically nothing. While Bobby probably pulled the pin eventually, I doubt he was the one responsible for the team producing nothing after such a long time.
Bobby is now gone, but Blizzard will remain a deplorable studio until they truly up-heave everything and stop the rot.
