Overwatch Beta: Team Torbjörn Gameplay!
779Torbjörn is one of the characters that is always hovering around his Turret. While he technically can be played on the offensive, he shines by upgrading and repairing his Turret. Besides positioning it in the perfect position, he can be of help with his supply of Armor Packs. A unique mechanics of Torbjörn is scrap. Scrap metal is dropped by all Heroes that die. Torbjörn uses it to upgrade the Turret and also to supply the Armor Packs. The Molten Core ultimate allows him to have infinite scrap, fire his Rivet Gun much faster, build faster and a lot of more sustainable with his temporarily increased health pool.
Torbjörn had a deep mistrust of sentient robotic intelligence, and while many of his peers wrote this off as paranoia, his worst fears were realized when the robot populations of the world turned against their human creators during the Omnic Crisis. Because of his engineering genius, he was recruited to join the original Overwatch strike team, and his many inventions proved integral to ending the crisis. In the years that followed, Overwatch became an international peacekeeping force, and Torbjörn remained a critical resource for all of its technological needs and signature weapons systems.
