1,904Widowmaker is the hero with the sniper rifle in Overwatch. She can switch between a regular machine gun and a sniper rifle on the fly. It's basically magic. For the most part though, you're designed to kill people at a distance. One shot, one kill.
It is believed that in her former life, Widowmaker was married to Gérard Lacroix, an Overwatch agent spearheading operations against the Talon terrorist organization. After several unsuccessful attempts to eliminate Gérard, Talon decided to change its focus to his wife Widowmaker, Talon operatives kidnapped her and subjected her to an intense program of neural reconditioning.
