A little story here for those wondering why I'm playing DPS instead of my usual tanks in Comp. So I was playing with Kevin (Keeblerchips/ShadowWolf000) & Eli (KDKnight12) the other night Overwatch on the PS4, this was the first time playing this version together and at some point we decided to go for our placement matches. For some dumb reason the game locked me out of the tank role (I never placed higher than Gold meanwhile Kevin was Plat in DPS before so I still do not understand why I was locked out of that role) and it was the only role out of the 3 I could not play, which is unfortunate because that's my go to role. And because Eli primarily plays Moira I wasn't confident going into Support so I went DPS. To not mix words we didn't do well in Comp, unless we would get completely bodied in the beginning of the game, the times we do start to pick up momentum the enemy team (I shit you not this happened like 3 times) would run Double Shields + Bastion everytime which kills us completely. That's not considering any Pharah, Junkrat or Mercy we had to deal with it was extremely toxic. We didn't get to win a single game of these matches and I was able to play tank ONCE only for them to decide not to give me the chance again for some damn reason. Kevin got Gold but Eli got Bronze so I don't understand how that works. But this match in particular irritates me the most, because this was one of the few moments in which we did play well so much so I was confident that my Solider or Kevin's Reaper would get the Play. But no it goes to the stupid braindead Bastion, a character that completely destroyed all of our motivation and confidence in Comp this session alone. Seriously fuck this character and fuck this game for locking me out of my main role. Anyways, I'm going back to play this game again. XD
