0The Chinese New Year of the Rooster event, like all seasonal events, comes with an exclusive Arcade mode.
Capture the Rooster is exactly what you think it is: Capture the Flag! This mode currently only takes place in Lijiang Tower. In it, you and your team must grab 3 of the enemy's flags from their goal and bring it back to your own.
When a flag is grabbed, the opposing team will be alerted to it. If you kill the enemy that has your flag, you can reclaim it.
If the match takes too long, Overtime can happen if both teams have the same amount of flags, and whoever can get another one will win.
That's my rough summary of this mode. This is the first time I've played through it, so the new spawn point just for this mode in Lijiang Tower kinda distorted me a few times.

As of what I've read on 2/9/2017, Capture the Rooster is planning to be a permanent Arcade mode for Overwatch, and it will be playable across all Capture-based maps besides Lijiang Tower such as Nepal, Ilios, and Oasis!
