Example of macro risk reward ad hoc call. Enemy's combo is Grav into Nano Blade. We only have Grav into Nano Tac / Brigitte which is weaker. In terms of ult race we were 1:1 neither side with an advantage. Our winning push was when I spotted enemy Brig who is close to ult went ham and fed. 6v5. Our nano combo isn't ready yet for another 15-20 seconds. Just enough time for Brig to come back and counter ult us on our turn to Ult into No-Ult. I dropped my Grav early and all we had to do was stagger them on the final stretch. Team kill isn't needed. Atleast that was the idea in my head. If enemy Brig tries to stabilize his team with rally, we already saved on our own Nano Brig combo which is the stronger pair in case if it went to a Ult into Ult final fight. Things played out exactly as predicted. As a safety net, I made sure to tell our Ana to Nano Brig and not Soldier since Tac can counter both enemy Genji and Pharah if they decided to solo ult to save the point.
