OVERWATCH | RADEON RX 550 | 1080p Performance & Gameplay
149Just about everyone plays this e-sport darling. Granted Overwatch is a well optimized game that looks good to boot, and is easy to pick up and play if you're familiar with FPS games.
I take a look at what Radeon RX 550 owners can expect performance wise while playing Overwatch if you're aiming squarely at a pure 1080p resolution. I'm not a fan of resolution scaling, so there's none of that here.
You may notice some changes in screen format and black bars inbetween clips. The combination of a 1440 x 900 monitor, and forcing 1080p via driver based VSR while getting the game to use a proper 16:9 ratio created some issues. Regardless, the game was being rendered in a 1920 x 1080 resolution sent to both the 900p monitor and my Elgato HD60 capture unit.
