Welcome Lords and Ladies to The Couch Knights' Let's Play of... Um... How do I even spell that? Kisima... Inngitchuna? Welcome to Never Alone!
Never Alone is a puzzle platforming game developed by Upper One Games and tells the traditional Inupiaq tale, Kunuuksaayuka. Interestingly enough, this is one of a growing demographic of games produced by indigenous people. Players swap control between a Inupiaq girl, Nuna, and her small arctic fox companion. Or in our case, two players each take control of the two. Using each character's unique abilities and skills, players advance their way through 8 chapters of challenges. Unlike many traditional games that reward players with coins or collectables for their work and exploration, Never Alone instead rewards players with cultural insights on a regular basis. What's more, the varied and often awe-inspiring vistas make for quite the dose of eye candy throughout. All together, Never Alone is a artfully crafted, challenging, and downright adorable game.
