Even though Oxygen Not Included OIL UPGRADE is not yet live (just over a week to go), I just had to start a new base to try out all the new things. It's a bit of a slow start but I'm really enjoying the new room types like Latrine, Barracks, Mess Hall & Med Bay. I hope they add a "farm" and "storage" room type and others.

I do hope that this save will work once the update is live (fingers crossed). I'll try to get down to the lava and oil early so we can start playing around in the oil and meet some slicksters.

I was thinking of maybe streaming some base building. Let me know if you would like that in a comment please.

How to change branches in Oxygen Not Included (Steam)

-In Steam, click on Library -) Games.
-Scroll down to Oxygen Not Included.
-Right-click and select Properties.
-Go to the BETAS tab.
-In the dropdown, select the name of the branch you want to play. In this case, the branch name is "oil_upgrade_preview"
--This branch does not require a password.
-In that same Properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press -"Verify Integrity Of Game Cache."
-Your game will be updated to the the previous branch.
-Launch and play Oxygen Not Included
