It seems to be the case that there is some debate as to whether this was actually a windshear or not. At 6:42 the navigation display shows the winds as being 300 degrees at 19 knots. at 6:44 I felt a sudden gust hit the nose of the aircraft and you can see the navigation display now showing 217 degrees at 38 knots. Although there was no aural "WINDSHEAR" warning, this caught me a little bit off guard and so I decided it was safer to go around instead of forcing the nose down to try to land. It could have been a bug with the weather software, or something entirely different...in all honesty I don't know what it would have been if not windshear.

P.S. I'm well aware my go around procedures are terrible if in fact it was a windshear. I never claim to be a talented pilot, but for the sake of my sanity please don't lecture me.... I get the message. I'll ensure to spend some time reading the FCOM on this kind of thing.
