In this series I will be playing some well known and less well known games all the way from yesteryear through to the present, sometimes from consoles and sometimes from the thousands of PC games available either through websites such as Steam, Good Old Games (GOG), as abandonware, (Home of the Underdogs) or through emulation software. (Such as WinVice C64)
In this episode UFO - Unfortunately Fortunate Organisms by Rebourne Studios... Part 2! This is a indie action game where you play as a species of alien whose very existence is is being threatened with total annihilation by another alien species so in order to get the necessary resources to make your one and only spaceship bigger and better you need to abduct a lesser alien species so you can mulch them up and use their bio matter for upgrades! (I'm sure there's some sort of heavy irony going on here) You have just 30 days to do this before you are forced to confront the evil Christos for the survival of your species!!
In this part we are working our way up to facing off with the big old baddie in this game Christos so let's go farm some more unsuspecting lesser beings than ourselves and turn them in to bio-matter so we can get better shields and stuff... We're set up pretty well for the big fight at the end of the game already so I'm pretty confident I won't die in the first couple of minutes and hopefully, (maybe) we'll get to see the big happy ending after we save the universe!

U.F.O - Unfortunately Fortunate Organisms is an alien resource management action game where you beam up humans using your spaceship and churn them into resources to upgrade your spaceship. In 30 days, the evil galactic warlord will complete his master weapon and wipe your race from the face of the galaxy. Can you upgrade your ship and defeat him or will he bring extinction to your race?

Upgrade Your Spaceship – Choose how you upgrade your spaceship with the humans you collect. Increase your ship's capacity, hit points & develop new technology such as shields and bombs.
Arcade Shooter Gameplay - Challenging bullet hell inspired gameplay. Dodge projectiles & environmental hazards whilst shooting enemies & beaming up humans. A true test of your reactions, accuracy, timing & decision making.
Unlockable Planets – Upgrade your Command Centre to discover more planets to visit and ‘extract’ resources from. Each with their own unique environmental hazards.
Multi-Phase Boss Battle - Old school style multi-phase boss battle. When you think that you have the boss beaten, then he pulls out another surprise for you!
Multiple Endings - Two different endings depending on if you can defeat the Intergalactic Warlord.
