+ The gameplay is pretty simple but very addicting. You manage a group of artists, take orders for paintings, and have to make sure the paintings are finished before the deadlines while also meeting their sleep needs.
+ Lots of things to build, and expand upon. It's a rather nice progression system where the more you build the more you will get paid, and the more profficient your artists will work and level up their skill.
+ A somewhat surprising amount of depth. Each painter has unique traits, and prefers different types of paintings. You can increase their skill level, and eventually promote them to a higher rank like master painter, and have them make master works of art.
+ Very relaxing music
+ Somewhat humerous events like being called out for being homosexual, which is punishable by death. You can choose to let your artist die or defend them but lose a rather large sum of gold.
- A bit too basic / repetitive. For the most part the game has you do the same cycle of actions over and over. I found it relaxing, but some people may find it tedious.
- Grindy, I felt as if most of the game is rather a grind. It takes a long time to make enough money to hire new painters or expand upon building, or even to buy relatively basic items.
