+ One of the best most immersive exploration games I have ever played.... The game keeps pushing you forward with so much mystery you can't help but think "what comes next?!" At times I felt like stopping, and then a new area would open up or some event would take place that would force me to continue onward.
+ The amount of content in this game is unbelievable. You will think you are getting close to the end but it just keeps going. You will likely spend over 8-10hours+ to get to the end.
+ The planet you explore is HUGE with a variety of very atmospheric environments with a metric ton of space to explore. Many miles of islands, caves, and tombs to wonder through. You truly do feel like you are on an alien planet.
+ The story is pretty epic, especially if you manage to get through the entire game. In the most basic terms, you crash land on a alien planet, and must find if it's hospitable enough for humans to live on after Earth is destroyed. What you find....is pretty alarming.
+ Graphically speaking the game looks gorgeous. I was playing at max settings at 1440p, and loved every minute of it.
+ The survival elements are "light" meaning that you won't be wasting too much time going out finding food or water. The game typically provides a lot of water / food sources. (TIP: DO NOT LOSE YOUR TORCH)
+ So many alternate paths, and places to discover. It almost felt like there wasn't anywhere you could not reach, and there is useful items, artifacts, and lore hidden everywhere!
- Some of the puzzles can be a bit overly challenging which can be a bit irrating. At some point through the game I was just like "Ughhhh I have to find more keys?! Just let me continue through the game!"
- The game doesn't provide you with a good sense of direction or purpose. You will feel lost, confused, and alone throughout most of the game. I was constantly thinking "what am i doing? where am I going? What am I supposed to be doing? Am I even going the right way" as the rabbit hole kept going deeper and deeper and deeper.
This game is better than most AAA games, you won't be disappointed, and has earned a spot in my favorites
