00:00 - Concentric Devastation (2005)
This episode starts off with one of the base maps I saw mentioned while reading reviews of IKSPQ5 in the previous stream. The map had an interesting atmosphere, but I definitely got a little bit lost. It had probably one of the most interesting Chthon fights I've seen... except Chthon wasn't what made it interesting, he was just sorta there to make the ride bumpy.
1:13:30 - Terra (2005)
Although made by different authors, Concentric Devastation and Terra flowed together well for two reasons: both were released in 2005, and Terra starts with more base maps. Terra's readme is hilariously self-deprecating and the pak seems like it might be more of a mixed bag than something particularly cohesive, but it's definitely an interesting and exciting experience. A couple of spots may have seemed excessively rude.
2:56:13 - Ceremonial Circles (2001)
This is one of several CZG maps I caught mentions of while reading Quaddicted reviews. This again has a couple of exciting encounters as well as at least one other fun tease. CZG seems to have a track record for keeping folks on the edge of their seats.
As a result of more mentions in reviews, I've got a few more CZG maps lined up to play next, and FrancisT also suggested looking at GlassMan's maps, which span 2001-2004. This means our return to Contract Revoked and The Lost Chapters will have to wait a bit more, but we'll get there and I'm expecting that the maps in the interim will be worth it.
