DISCOVERY
Increase the damage you deal to your Retribution target by 30% and reduce the Cooldown of Retribution by 15s.
HEROISM
Gain Immunity to Crowd Control and reduce your damage taken by 90% while using Combat Slide.
MAGNUMS
Dual semi-automatic Magnums that deal 320 damage every 0.25s. These Magnums have a maximum Ammo count of 12 and are fully effective up to 60 units.

Paladins takes place in a sci-fi fantasy world. There are elements of both fantasy and science fiction, including medieval-looking soldiers who use ranged weapons such as shotguns and assault rifles instead of swords.
In the world of Paladins, there is a conflict between two factions; the Magistrate and the Paladins. Champions were recruited in order to minimize casualties of regular foot soldiers. The champions would be considered "special forces" as they are more efficient at combat than a regular soldier. Not all champions are committed, however. There were a few who did not pick sides during the war, rather they would contract with both, rendering them mercenaries. The rest of these special forces were committed to a faction, either the Magistrate or the Paladins/Resistance. There are also minor factions in the game as well, the "Abyss", the "Thousand Hands" and the "Pyre".
Paladins provides various characters, called Champions, for the players to choose during their gaming sessions. Each of these Champions falls into one of the following categories: Front Line, Damage, Support, and Flank. Being a team-based shooter, players must rely on strategy, character knowledge, coordination, and teamwork in order to attain victory. Players may use VGS, along with text and voice chat to communicate. A good team will have a balanced choice of classes that will support each other during the game.

SIEGE
Capture the objective then push the payload
PLAYERS: 5v5
The classic Paladins game mode. Face off against the enemy team to secure a Capture Point, then push the Payload towards your opponent’s base. If your enemies capture the point, rally your defenses and earn a point for holding them back. Once you feel confident in your performance, queue Competitive Siege and climb the ranks to become a Champion in your own right!
TEAM DEATHMATCH
Eliminate enemy players
PLAYERS: 5v5
Unbridled team vs. team combat at its best. Assemble a squad of your favorite Champions and frag your enemies. The first team to 40 kills wins. It’s Team Deathmatch, Paladins style.
ONSLAUGHT
Slay your enemies and control the objective to win
PLAYERS: 5v5
Two teams. One Control Point. Capture and hold the center point in King of the Hill-style gameplay with a Paladins twist. Slay your enemies to keep them off the point and earn 5 tickets for your team. Plus, get 1 ticket per second your team controls the point. The first team to 400 tickets wins.
