PANCAKE!!! (OMORI Part 8)

Welcome back to OMORI!
Last episode was the church fight, and boy lemme tell you, that was a doozy! This episode is also a doozy, but for a slightly different reason. In this episode, we run back and forth a lot, exploring different parts of Headspace and opening up new areas of the game. First, wee find the Train Station, which then takes us to Orange Oasis. While we're there, we discover and underground labyrinth, become a hero of an odd, little sub-world called Rain Town, and catch our first glimpse of the pyramid scheme we will come to know as Dino Dig. Once we're done exploring as much of the oasis as we can, we come back to the Vast Forest, where we search for the second ladder, the one leading to the cloudy sky area where Kite Kid is. After we defeat Kite Kid and their Kite, we finally progress the story a mite, landing ourselves in Pyrefly Forest, the land of spiders, thing with extra legs that should not have extra legs, crying moss maidens, and giant mama bears on steroids. If you thought this episode was exciting, just wait till you see what the next ones have in store!
WARNING: This game deals with sensitive subjects such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide. There are also some sections later on in the game that have bright flashing lights, so people with epilepsy or other photosensitive disorders, be warned going in to those segments.
DOUBLE WARNING: The train sequence is very shaky, so it might be disturbing to people with photosensitivity. It is also houses the scariest bit of the entire episode, so if you wish to bypass it completely, here is the timestamp for the segment. 23:46 - 27:21
Since this is a potentially triggering game, I will be providing information to the National Suicide Prevention Helpline down below. Please use this recourses if you are ever feeling overwhelmed/uncomfortable. Know that you have the option to talk with me too, if you so choose. I am not a licensed counselor/therapist/psychiatrist, but I have plenty of first-hand experience with depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide, so if you need to talk to someone, I am here to listen.
