On Episode 53 of the Rewind, Therek and I got into a conversation from a mailbox question about what abilities we think will be overrated or underrated. I spoke up in thinking that the ranger ability to aim first person from the bow was a bit overrated, even dare I say "Gimmicky” – I explained that I felt like it was a lot of work for a single ability and wasn’t sure how it would feel in intense situations. Obviously just my opinion, as well as saying they may prove me wrong, but Joppa provided some unexpected context to the ability in our live chat near the end of the show. He stated:
“Not just one class, smiley face. Also remember that Aimed action abilities like silent arrow aren’t only for offensive purposes. It would be nice to trigger traps from a distance too, etc…. lighting a distant torch with a flaming arrow.”

This sent the chat into a lot of discussion about the many implications of what this could mean! What classes may have this type of an ability? The thoughts on setting off traps from a distance instead of just disarming! Generating light… while a short quote, this was a big bit of news that can add an extra layer of adventure to the game.
