I do not mention in the video but PAL models of the original Xbox do struggle with progressive modes and as such the video here is captured in Interlaced mode which reduces image quality (due to the field rate rendering) at the benefit of field rate update being higher and thus smoother. PAL models suffered with a Progressive display limitation but I excluded from the video for ease of viewer enjoyment.

UPDATE: The base Xbox Progressive resolution may be slightly lower on the width as first counted, testing in progressive mode I can have counts at 512x378, so between this and the stated 576x378 is the approximate base for the other versions to scale from.

The Panzer Dragoon series holds a special place in my heart, a shining example of the treats the Saturn could deliver, it was also one of the biggest series to jump ship over to Xbox once the Sega console dream ended.

A few years in the making, but this BC release on now gen machines takes things to a whole new level, I take a look at just what each release offers across 3.5 Generations of hardware, dis Orta be Gud!
