Paper Bride [Chinese horror puzzle, point and click] - full screen 3/5
0Alright I am NOT well versed in Chinese tradition - as in, at all! So I can't recall when I played a game where I hit the 'hint' button more than this, but okay some things are logic, others not at all (to me that is), but I LOVE the story, I LOVE the way the game looks and I love the weird gameplay mechanics. So I decided to upload it even if I feel like a complete tool most the time, not figuring out things that might be logic to anyone who knows just a little about Chinese traditional burial or marital rituals.
At one point, there is a puzzle that I figured out, without the hint the game thought I needed, that was honestly a little strange. ahaha (it's the one at the bottom of the well, with the photo hint). And when you experience some pauses in the game, it's because I take a snapshot of my screen with my phone to better solve the puzzles, since there is no ingame way to do that. And I can't for the life of me recall all those chinese letters, or ritual explanations.
Also I had to skip the checkers game, and the horse tile game.
In short I kinda suck at this game, but it's still so pretty.
