Part 3 – Chapter 1: Storming Koopa Bros. Fortress 2/2
I should mention that you should expect Paper Mario's chapters to be split into parts, mostly due to length. Besides, I don't want things to get too boring.
We continue with more of Chapter 1. After recruiting Bobette to join our group. We head further up the fortress. It's then the Koopa Bros decide to stop us by means of using Bullet Bill cannons. Thing is, they aren't that hard to contend with and if you really wanted to, you can actually level up once or twice if you really want to. Take down the Bullet Bill Cannons to alleviate the threat. Make sure you save and heal up in the process. Trust me. You don't want to start over from a save point you missed out on.
Once we reach further, the Koopa Bros have a plan to stall so they use some sort of Trojan Bowser to stop us. The Trojan Bowser only has 10 HP and it's not a tough foe. He only has one attack that deals 1 damage. Just use your normal attacks and it goes down. Afterwards you face the Koopa Bros themselves and they have an awesome boss theme. All four of the Ninjakoopas have 5 HP and 1 Attack power but they have a signature attack where they do a spin strike that deals up to four damage. The strategy is simple. Have them off their Tower form while they end up on their backs. Then let each Ninjakoopa have it. Focus on one at a time so that not only there are less of them but you take less damage from their attacks. It's a simple fight but not a difficult one.
With the Koopa Bros defeated, we get our hands on the first of seven star spirits, Eldstar. Each star spirit has access to a different effect that can be used only in battle. His is Refresh which restores 5 HP and FP and has a cost of 1. You also get access to an option to pray so you can increase your Star gauge. But it's not needed when you can go into a Toad House for that.
We also take on Jr. Troopa and it's our second fight. Each fight will add a challenge to it but if you know what you're doing, you'll manage.
Part 3 will begin Chapter 2. Oh and at the end of every chapter, you take control of Peach so you can be able to get information that Twink will send to Mario to setup for the next chapter.
