During your run to the top of the Glitz Pit, you will face the Iron Adonis Twins as your final test before reaching the major league. These two are a pair of Iron Clefts, whose metal bodies provide them an invincible layer of defense. There is no way to defeat them the first time you fight them, so you must run away. After you initially lose to them, however, the egg you saved from Hoggle will have hatched, and the Yoshi that was born will join your party. The Yoshi has a move called Gulp, which can hit one enemy against the other. This is the secret to defeating the Iron Clefts, as the only thing that can pierce their defense is their own horns.
